Terra And Mr. C Join Forces To Announce First Ever Café, Le Specialita Market And Café

Terra and Mr. C officially unveil their iteration of the brand\’s first gourmet Italian market place and café.

Mr. C Residences, the brand\’s first large-scale residential project, will house its debut café and market place, Le Specialita Market and Café. The 5,250-square-foot eatery, available to locals and residents alike, is scheduled to be unveiled in 2023.

The tastes and presentation of Le Specialita Market and Café will mirror those of Mr. C\’s distinguished culinary experience. Ignazio and Maggio Cipriani conceived of this culinary perspective by taking cues from family heritage and extensive travels. Therefore, it serves to reason that Le Specialita Market and Café aims to celebrate the rustic vision of Italian cuisine while exploring the intersection of family traditions and recipes from various regions.

The Italian Riviera in the \’50s provides for iconic glamour, swagger and charm. This is exactly what the café intends to bring back – late afternoons in Rome or Milan, the light hum of conversation, crystal flutes clinking each other for a toast and the rich aroma of freshly pulled espresso in the air. The setting for meals at Le Specialita Market and Café, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, in the smart-casual restaurant. Here, guests will be able to take advantage of the double-height floor-to-ceiling glass walls and the picturesque views of Biscayne Bay.

The development is on schedule to open in 2023 and residents can expect private at-home experiences, such as cooking classes, wine-paired dinners and weekly customized menu deliveries. Le Specialita will also be available for private functions like engagement celebrations, intimate children’s parties and more, all sprinkled with Italian flair.

Meyer Davis, renowned New York-based boutique design studio, is the creative force behind the design of the café. The award-winning studio blends otherwise disparate elements to form a harmonious blend of old and new. The café will offer a contemporary perspective on classic European living. The abundant old-world sophistication will embrace its community surroundings by also providing a maritime ambiance. The décor shows Italian elegance through touches like fine leather banquettes, nautical motifs, high-polish floors and fresh navy-blue paint.

Located at 2655 S. Bayshore Drive, the project will feature 231 residences as well as ground-floor retail. The site rests across the street from Regatta Harbour, Regatta Park and beloved sailing clubs.
